Invitation: Islamic Arts Week
(26th-28th July)
The Islamic Society is hosting an Arts Exhibition (“Muslims from Around the world“) as part of Islamic Arts Week at Sam Cracknell Pavillion (next to Sports field and opposite law building) at UNSW’s Kensington Campus.
We have received expressions of supplying arts for this event from students from 10 countries and several local artists. Students from many many other nationalities will be volunteering at the event making it truly a multicultural event. I do hope you can pass the following information on to your contacts.
The exhibition will be held on the Wednesday and Thursday (27-28th July) from 10-5pm. The event details for the week are as follows: July 26 – tuesday, multicultural Lunch (unlike no other!) Science Lawn 1-3pm
27th – wednesday Muslims from around the world arts exhibition Sam Cracknell Pavillion Level 1 (above the grandstands at the sportsfield- opposite the law building)
10am-5pm
Charity Fundraiser:
Food and Toy drive for children of disadvantaged families in Australia Library Walkway 9-5pm
